TORONTO -- On June. 25, 2017, at 12:15 p.m., nearly 60 people were observed being in attendance - including organizers - at Winchester Park, where there was an organized group gathered to celebrate inclusivity and diversity in the LGBT sector in Toronto that's represented by "first responders."

This included policing men and women, paramedics, fire department personnel, and anyone else defined as an emergency first responder.
In attendance to address the small number of attendees were Toronto Mayor John Tory and Ontario Progressive Conservative Party leader Patrick Brown. While Mr. Brown was addressing media formally, a heckler arrived and began screaming to request organizer Bryn Hendricks "go home."
The identity of the disruptive attendee was not disclosed to The Torch Online Media at the time of this writing.
Organizers were unresponsive to requests made for further information prior to the First Responders Unity Festival in Toronto this year.
