OSHAWA -- Anyone interested in arts and culture is invited to the annual Cultural Summit on Wed. Oct. 19, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
This event is an opportunity for everyone to learn about arts, culture, and heritage in Oshawa, while sharing and starting future collaborations.
"Oshawa's annual Cultural Summit is a great venue to learn what the city has done this last year regarding arts, culture, and heritage, as well as time to discuss how to keep our Culture Counts initiative moving forward," said Councillor Bob Chapman.
Keynote speaker for the night will be Andrew F. Sullivan, author of "Waste" and Oshawa resident.
Presentations will also be provided by the Ontario Regiment, Urban Arts for Social Change Graffiti School, and Yolanda Beasely, a filmmaker and master of romance.
Local entertainment for the evening includes the Oshawa Civic Band.
