TORONTO -- The City of Toronto is getting ready to begin the countdown to the annual Toronto Challenge.
Each year money is raised to help improve the lives of seniors through long-term care homes and services offered across the city.
The countdown officially begins on May. 16, 2017, at 12:30 p.m., at the West Scarborough Neighbourhood Community Centre, located at 313 Pharmacy Ave.
Remarks will be made by Reg Paul, GM of long-term care homes and services; Nick Ametrano VP of MonsterMortgage.ca; and Carla Beaton VP of clinical innovations and quality improvement from Medical Pharmacies Group Limited.
The Toronto Challenge will be held on June 11, at City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.
The event includes a MonsterMortgage.ca 5K run, a Medical Pharmacies 5K run, and a 1K fun run.
